    We require a dynamic, creative and outgoing university student / young professional to join our exciting team as soon as possible for a minimum 6 month internship period.

    Job Description:

    The key roles of an Induction Coordinator would be to guide and provide support to every new intern during the initial two weeks in the organization. While EduCARE India is growing and many new interns and volunteers are coming to become a part of the organization, it is the responsibility of the induction coordinator to guide and mentor the interns.

    The Induction coordinator should be always approachable for the interns to discuss their problems before arrival and after arrival. The primary purpose is to make sure all interns and local volunteers understand the organization as a whole; thus to establish, maintain and improve communications between the new interns and the current team of EduCARE.

    It is the responsibility of the Induction Coordinator to help the interns through all the rules and regulations and procedures of Visa and other documentation. The coordinator will also be responsible for the coordination of the activities and workshops during the induction period for the interns and volunteers.

    Key Roles and Responsibility:

    • Assist the HR Coordinator with the on-boarding of new staff including; letters of offer, new starter documentation, and creation of email accounts, coordination and facilitation of induction processes.
    • Works collaboratively with other EduCARE India team members to coordinate services for the interns.
    • Participate in meetings to update knowledge and skills to improve and expand induction services.
    • Coordinate organization wide training initiatives including invitation and attendance, organizing facilitators, maintaining training calendars
    • Delivering regular communications for all interns and local volunteers through a range of channels (through email, phone, and regular meetings) ensuring ease of access to communications, clarity and consistency of messages.
    • Developing and maintaining extensive information and communications networks with diverse internal and external stakeholders.

    Skills and Knowledge:

    Applicants must have knowledge in theory and practice in the related professional fields like Human Resources. They must have a basic knowledge of Microsoft Office. Furthermore the applicants should have good communications skills in English, demonstrating a clear commitment to development work, independently as well as working with a team.

    Experience in managing end to end recruitment in accordance with targeted selection recruitment methodology. The applicant must be able to work independently with minimal supervision and collaboratively as part of team in a dynamic work environment. Strong organizational skills, the ability to successfully complete several tasks concurrently, maintain high levels of attention to detail, maintains documentation and record keeping.

    The ideal candidate will be dynamic, flexible, organized, self-motivated, creative, humble, and strategic. The candidate should be friendly, sensitive and enthusiastic about the job role.

    Experience in developmental work and living abroad is preferred but not mandatory.
