    Description

    The Choice is partnering with a prominent national nursing healthcare association for a Data Manager opportunity. This organization is dedicated to setting high standards for nursing education, supporting healthcare institutions in implementing those standards, and driving policy and advocacy efforts to advance healthcare outcomes.

    In this role, you will be pivotal in managing and advancing institutional data systems, supporting annual surveys, and generating custom data reports. The ideal candidate will bring strong data management and analysis skills and work collaboratively within a close-knit, mission-driven team. This is a valuable opportunity for data professionals passionate about leveraging data to support healthcare education and policy. This is a direct hire full-time, hybrid (2 days/week for the first month, then 1 day/week) role with a target start date of December 2024.

    The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

    • A bachelor’s degree in a research or data-related field, with 3+ years of experience in data management or analysis. Experience in nonprofit experience is a huge plus.
    • Proficiency in managing large databases, with experience using SPSS, Access, R, R Shiny, Tableau, Qualtrics, and Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Experience using Qualtrics and Tableau (required)
    • Experience in a non-profit setting or familiarity with data extraction and analysis for membership-based organizations is highly desirable.
    • Data extraction and reporting skills, with the ability to consolidate data into usable tools for analysis and decision-making.
    • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
    • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate effectively.
    • A proactive and self-motivated approach to projects, with a creative mindset for data problem-solving.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Manage the annual Institutional Data Systems (IDS) survey, including preparation, distribution, and data verification.
    • Conduct data editing, validation, and consistency checks to ensure data integrity.
    • Perform data analysis, data entry, and data extraction for reporting needs.
    • Support the preparation of annual survey reports, including layout design and IDS table maintenance.
    • Generate custom data reports and fulfill other department data requests.
    • Collaborate with the Research and Data team to enhance data tools and reporting processes.
    • Assist in developing and maintaining data dashboards using tools such as Tableau, SPSS, R, R Shiny, and Qualtrics.

    Salary: $60,000 - $78,000
