The Choice Inc, is supporting an immediate hiring need for our client, a higher education association in the public health space.
This is a highly visible and critical position that will provide leadership to the association’s governance matters, including preparing for board meetings, drafting and maintaining board minutes and resolutions, and ensuring accurate implementation of board decisions.
The organization requires ASAP support as this is a recent vacancy in the department. They will be starting candidates on a temporary basis, to support immediate needs, however there is definitely strong opportunity for a permanent position, if it is a good fit.

Overview of Job Duties:
Note: The organization is open to considering professionals at a variety of levels for this governance position. Candidates without staff supervisory experience may be considered at an administrator level.
Required schedule/in office:
A hybrid, in-office schedule is required. Tuesdays/Wednesdays/Thursdays are required in -office days. Mondays/Fridays are remote. Candidates must be fully open to this schedule and be able to commute to downtown DC. The office location is highly Metro-accessible and is within close walking distance to all Metro lines (Metro Center/Gallery Place/Mt Vernon Square are all close by). 35 hour work week.
