    Job Overview

    Well-known non-profit global media company located in Midtown Manhattan is seeking a proactive and strategic Human Resources Business Partner with a strong focus in Benefits and with 6 to 8 years of experience to join our dynamic team. In this hybrid role, you will serve as a trusted advisor to management and employees, providing guidance on HR policies, practices, and initiatives. You will play a critical role in aligning HR strategies with business goals while fostering a positive workplace culture.

    Duties

    • Collaborate with leadership to develop and implement HR strategies that support business objectives.
    • Manage talent acquisition processes, ensuring effective recruitment and onboarding of new employees.
    • Provide expertise in employment labor law to ensure compliance with regulations and company policies.
    • Facilitate employee orientation programs to promote engagement and retention.
    • Address employee relations issues through conflict management and resolution strategies.
    • Support performance management processes, including talent management initiatives and employee development plans.
    • Identify opportunities for process improvement within HR functions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
    • Utilize HRIS systems such as Workday for data management and reporting.

    Experience

    • Proven experience in a Human Resources role, preferably as an HR Business Partner or similar position.
    • Strong knowledge of employment labor laws and best practices in HR management.
    • Familiarity with HRIS platforms such as Workday is highly desirable.
    • Demonstrated skills in talent acquisition, conflict management, and employee orientation programs.
    • Experience in process improvement initiatives within an HR context is a plus.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
