Now you can RSVP to events directly through listings on Idealist.
To RSVP to an event, you’ll first need to create a public Profile. If you don’t already have a profile, click RSVP and you’ll be prompted to create one. Check out our other article for more information about creating a profile.
Please note, only events posted directly through Idealist will have the ability to RSVP through Idealist. For events posted by our partners, please follow the instructions included in the listing.
You can narrow down events by keyword or Issue Area, as well as location and date. To search specifically for events you can RSVP to on Idealist, start your search then filter by Idealist as the source.
RSVP & Save
Click the RSVP button to let folks know if you’re either “Going” or “Interested.” When you RSVP for an event, you’ll receive an email confirmation and a reminder 24 hours before the event.
We recommend saving the event listing as well by clicking "Save" so you have easy access to it later. You can also save a listing without RSVPing or share it with your friends! If you find you can no longer attend the event, that's no problem. Head back to the listing and mark yourself as “Not Going.”
To access your saved events, log in to Idealist and click your name in the upper right corner of the page, or click the gear icon if you’re in our mobile view. Click “My Saved Items” from the dropdown menu and navigate to the “Events” section.
