    UCSF Center for Tobacco Control Research and Education (CTCRE) is a global leader in tobacco science, a World Health Organization collaborating center, and home of the Legacy Tobacco Documents Library. The research of CTCRE spans a multitude of disciplines from policy and historical research to economics and biological science. The work is designed to inform and improve the effectiveness of public health and clinical interventions to reduce tobacco use. The Center acts as a focal point for tobacco research, education, cessation, and training at the University of California.
