The Town of Chatham is seeking an organized, highly qualified, and analytical superstar with technical proficiencies to become the Finance Administrator in our Accounting Division.
Under general direction of the Finance Director, the Finance Administrator assists in the preparation of the Town’s annual operating and capital budgets performing associated research, reporting and auditing. This position will also be responsible for management of the daily activities of the Municipal Sticker Office.
A Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting Business along with three to four years of relevant experience or equivalent combination is required. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong financial acumen, excellent communication and interpersonal skills and is proficient in Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint, and accounting software.
This benefits and pension eligible position is 40 hours per week. Starting bi-weekly rate of $2,710.40 - $2,820.00; $70,470.40 - $73,320.00. The position is covered under the Chatham Municipal Employees Association.
