Law Internship at a Palestinian Law Firm (1-12 Weeks) 2024/2025

The Palestine/West Bank Law Internship program provides a unique opportunity to gain knowledge and practical experience in the Palestinian legal system. As an intern, you will have the chance to learn about the judicial system and visit the courts in Hebron, Palestine, while engaging with the local legal community.

This program is conducted at a reputable Palestinian law firm in Hebron, and is designed for individuals who are interested in familiarizing themselves with Palestinian law. Through this program, you will observe firsthand how judges, prosecutors, and lawyers handle the various cases received by the courts in Palestine. It is an excellent opportunity for anyone seeking to deepen their understanding of the legal system in Palestine.

By participating in this program, you will get the following:

• You’ll work at a Palestinian law firm in the city of Hebron.
• You will have a guide/Lawyer (who speaks English) who will accompany you during your stay in Hebron.
• Meet Palestinian local lawyers who will tell you about their profession in the law field, cases they work on, and the difficulties they face during work.
• Visit Palestinian courts in Hebron with a guide who show you and explain how the courts function in Palestine.
• A chance to make workshops or to be a guest lecturer in Hebron university – Faculty of Law or at the legal clinic where you can meet, interact and discuss with the law students and professors at the university.
• Engaging in the Palestinian community, culture, and daily life.
• Visiting historical sites and refugee camps in Hebron.
• Get 3 hours of Arabic lessons per week.
• Accommodation, including either staying with a Palestinian host family or at a dorm.
• Palestinian breakfast every day with other international volunteers and staff.

If you can’t go to Palestine but want to help Palestinians by teaching English online, the “ONLINE Teaching English to Palestinians” program is perfect for you. In this program, you can have one-on-one English lessons with Palestinian students and, at the same time, learn Arabic from one of our qualified instructors.

The ONLINE Teaching English to Palestinians program is designed for people who want to teach English to Palestinians and be part of the Palestinian community. You can use video chat apps like Skype, WhatsApp, Google Meeting, ZOOM, and others to conduct these online lessons and build meaningful connections.
