    Did you know there are volunteer opportunities right in your backyard? Come learn about local

    volunteer options right in the Thurmont and Emmitsburg MD areas. This event is ideal for adults

    and high school students. There will be a drawing for a basket full of gift cards to local establishments, books, T-shirt, bags, pens, phone pockets, lanyards, flashlights and more! We'd love to see you.

    Parking is in the rear of the building. Follow signage. An elevator (go to Level 1) and stairs are available.

    How to Join

    No RSVP is required. Come at your leisure between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. to check out the mission of local non-profits and how you can partner with them to strengthen our communities! This event is especially helpful to students looking for community service hours or individuals interested in giving back to the community. Park in the rear of the Emmitsburg Community/Library/Town Office building. When facing the back of the building, enter the far-right door. You may use the stairs or elevator to go up to Level 1, where the gym is located.
