Pay Range: $25/Hour

Location: Brooklyn, NY with some remote work possible

Summary Description

A Democratic candidate for Brooklyn Borough President in 2025 is seeking a Donor Prospect Associate to assist the campaign with raising funds from small-dollar donors primarily through individual call time and call time with the candidate. The Donor Prospect Associate will be able to partially work remote with some days required to be in the Brooklyn office with the candidate.

Responsibilities

• Make calls daily (4-5 days per week, 4 hours per day) to current donors for re-solicitation and cold calls to donor prospect lists developed by the campaign to solicit contributions from small-dollar donors, primarily within Brooklyn and NYC
• Track all call, pledge, and follow up data for all calls made to each list
• Provide reports to campaign leadership on progress to goals
• Assist with developing and editing the script for maximum success and efficiency
• Assist the candidate with call time as needed, taking notes and conducting follow up

Experience & Qualifications

• Must be available 16-20 hours per week, primarily during the hours of 4pm-8pm
• Ideal candidate will be located in Brooklyn or be able to travel to Brooklyn easily 1-2 days per week
• Experience with political campaigns or fundraising operations strongly preferred
• Excellent communication skills, particularly over the phone
• Great attention to detail and follow through
• Ideal position for a self-starter who needs minimum direction
