    OPEN POSITION: ACCOUNT COORDINATOR

    Momentum Communications Group is seeking public relations professionals to join our growing team of award-winning nonprofit PR specialists as an Account Coordinator focused on building our clients’ reputation and influence through social media and the press.     Responsibilities:

    • Schedule weekly social media posts for clients and agency in Sprout
    • Conduct community management, monitoring activity on client social platforms and coordinating responses
    • Attend in-person client events to capture social media content (photos, videos, quotes, etc)
    • Provide administrative support on social media calendars, such as formatting content for internal and external client facing calendars
    • Conduct social media listening on behalf of clients
    • Draft some social media posts (copy and graphics) with supervision
    • Execute light copy and graphics edits based on client feedback
    • Research and write weekly media monitoring roundups
    • Conduct video editing
    • Conduct audio clipping and captioning
    • Research and write reports on such topics as client competitors, news trends and public policy
    • Prepare press clippings of client media coverage
    • Support reporting of agency results in activity reports
    • Support the agency’s own social media with content development, scheduling and community management

    Position Qualifications:

    This entry level position offers an ideal opportunity for a recent college graduate to learn the ins and outs of PR and digital communications from the ground up. Some work experience/internships in social media, public relations and/or journalism is ideal, but not required.
