    The Policy & Research Group is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented candidate to carry out health education and study coordination duties. This is a full-time, exempt position. The person hired will implement a virtual health education program with youth involved in the legal system, and will conduct duties related to the evaluation of this project, including: recruiting participants for enrollment in the study, facilitating a multi-session and sexual health entertainment education program with participants, maintaining contact with all study participants while they are enrolled in the study, administering questionnaires, conducting data entry and quality assurance checks, and managing data collection materials and incentives.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • B.A./B.S. preferred
    • Strong interest and/or experience in conducting high-quality research
    • Strong interest and/or experience conducting facilitated discussions on topics around sexual health
    • Comfortable talking and working with adolescents who are involved in the legal system
    • Experience or strong interest in providing programs to adolescents about healthy relationships and sexual health
    • Ability to maintain clear boundaries with young people
    • Experience working with youth who have experienced significant trauma and/or involvement in the legal system
    • Non-judgmental stance
    • Belief in the inherent dignity and right to autonomy for all people
    • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
    • Excellent communication and computer skills
    • Commitment to PRG’s mission: to produce rigorous research and evaluation that benefits people by improving programs and innovations that aim to improve social, behavioral, health, economic, and employment potential
    • Ability to work a flexible schedule; some evening and weekend hours may be required

    HOURS: This is a full-time grant-funded position, supported through 2027.

    STARTING WAGE: $44,000 /year full-time exempt

    LOCATION: Applicants based out of New Orleans are preferred; however, this position will be conducted remotely, so a remote working arrangement from any location will be considered for the right candidate. State your preferred location in your cover letter.

    • Two weeks (10 days) paid vacation per year, with increase to three weeks after one year of employment
    • Approximately 17 paid holidays per year (this includes an end of the year break where the office is closed between Christmas and New Year’s Day)
