    Key responsibilities

    As a Finance Data Analyst, your key responsibilities will include:

    • Developing, improving, and maintaining financial dashboards to provide real-time insights and support performance tracking
    • Streamlining budgeting processes and financial workflows
    • Automating financial processes using tools like Google Sheets (including Apps Script) to optimize efficiency
    • Managing and analyzing financial data, including reporting and visualization, to support clients’ operational and strategic goals
    • Collaborating with and supporting the Finance team by assisting in various financial operations, ensuring seamless data management and reporting

    About you

    You’ll need to have:

    • 3+ years of experience in finance, data analysis, or a related role, with hands-on experience in dashboards and reporting
    • Proficiency in Apps Script (or VBA), with a solid understanding of performance optimization and automation
    • The ability to approach complex financial data with a data-driven mindset and coding expertise
    • A keen interest in leveraging AI technologies to enhance productivity for yourself, your team, and the organizations you support

    You’ll also likely have:

    • API knowledge: You’re familiar with integrating external data sources into internal systems through APIs.
    • Coding skills: You have basic to intermediate Python, R, or SQL knowledge.
    • Data visualization experience: You have hands-on experience with tools like Tableau for creating intuitive financial reports and dashboards.
    • Experience with setting up integrations: You have a solid knowledge of setting up integrations with finance data platforms and CRMs (e.g. Ramp, Gusto, BILL, Airtable, or others).
    • Interest in finance and data science: You have a passion for using data to drive better financial decisions and processes.
    • Experience with working in diverse team environments: You’re comfortable collaborating with international teams and adapting to various cultural and professional contexts.
    • An operations mindset: You’re good at identifying issues, prioritizing, generating solutions, and efficiently implementing new ideas.
    • Strong attention to detail: You identify and correct small errors to ensure precision and accuracy in a fast-paced and challenging environment.
    • A love of systems: You enjoy building systems that run exceptionally smoothly, and have promising ideas for improving existing processes.
    • Strong communication skills: You’re personable and able to communicate professionally and clearly with various stakeholders and clients, both in writing and verbally.
    • Comfort owning projects: You’re comfortable managing tasks and you thrive in an autonomous work environment.

    Your starting salary range is £40,000 to £55,000, depending on prior experience and location. There may be flexibility in salary for exceptional candidates with significant experience.
