Reef Physical Therapy is a thriving clinic in Long Island City, offering comprehensive care through a multidisciplinary approach. Our 4000 sqft facility features state-of-the-art wellness technology and fitness equipment, including Tonal, OXEFIT, Keiser Squat Pro, EXXENTRIC, ANCORE, Kinvent dynamometer, BFR training, red light therapy, PEMF machines, oxygen concentrators, and Ceragem massage beds. We also have a 1000 sqft outdoor space with a golf practice range. We provide a range of services including physical therapy, acupuncture, Pilates, personal training, and nutrition consultations. Additionally, we offer the opportunity to collaborate with mental health therapists and other professionals to provide truly comprehensive care.

Job Description: We seek a motivated and compassionate full-time Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate is passionate about helping patients achieve their health and wellness goals and is committed to providing the highest level of care. You will work in a supportive and collaborative environment alongside experienced professionals.

Responsibilities Includes:

• Evaluate and treat patients with musculoskeletal and neuromuscular conditions through a proactive, preventative care approach.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs, goals, and activity levels, including back-to-sports training.
• Promote non-surgical, non-invasive approach such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and modalities for effective health management.
• Incorporate advanced fitness equipment like Tonal, OXEFIT, Keiser Squat Pro, EXXENTRIC, ANCORE, Kinvent dynamometer, and BFR into treatment plans to enhance patient outcomes.
• Utilize TECAR therapy as part of treatment for pain relief, muscle relaxation, and tissue regeneration.
• Educate patients on injury prevention, wellness, and healthy lifestyle choices to support long-term health and recovery.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a comprehensive and well-rounded approach to patient care.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and treatment adjustments.

Qualifications:

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.
• Valid New York State Physical Therapist license.
• Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience preferred. (Out of network & Self pay experience preferred)
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience with advanced fitness equipment and holistic approaches is a plus.
• Background in sports, strong manual therapy skills, or Pilates experience are highly desirable.

What We Offer:

• Competitive salary range: $94,000 - $105,000 (40hrs/wk) per year, (or $84,600 - $94,500 on 36 hrs/wk)
