    Description

    Murphy Anderson PLLC, a public interest law firm in Washington, D.C., is seeking a full-time legal assistant for office management, document preparation, receptionist, and litigation-related tasks.

    Collegial and progressive work environment is an excellent opportunity for a recent college graduate seeking practical legal experience in a cutting-edge public interest setting prior to law school or other graduate program.

    Candidate must have excellent writing and editing skills, be organized with great attention to detail, be able to multitask, and have a positive can-do work ethic. Candidate must be proficient in MS Office applications, including Excel and PowerPoint.

    Fluent Spanish speaking and writing skills required.

    A significant part of the job involves working with Spanish-speaking clients who we represent in wage theft cases, interpreting and translating.

    This is an in-person position, five days per week. Candidates interested in advancing the public interest are encouraged to apply. Two-year commitment preferred. Please identify earliest start date in cover letter.
