    Now Hiring: Board Certified Behavior Analyst or Behavior Support Specialist

    Join a dedicated team making a genuine impact in the community. Aspire Independence Resources is seeking a committed Behavior Support Specialist to help adults with developmental disabilities lead fulfilling lives within their communities and homes.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Behavioral Support: Develop, implement, and monitor Behavioral Support Plans (BSP) and Crisis Intervention Plans (CIP).
    • Collaborative Effort: Partner with families and other care professionals to deliver consistent, effective support.
    • Data-Informed Strategy: Utilize insights from behavioral data to refine approaches and ensure optimal outcomes.
    • Training and Leadership: Provide guidance and training to our team of compassionate direct support professionals.

    We're Looking For:

    Education and Certification:

    A relevant master's degree (e.g., Psychology, Special Education, Counseling). Preferred qualifications include a PA Behavior Specialist License or BCBA certification.

    Knowledge and Skills:

    • Proven ability to describe and prioritize, with team input, the current and future value (or social importance) of targeted behaviors or deficits
    • Expertise in collecting, quantifying, and analyzing direct/indirect observational data on behavioral or deficit targets to maximize and maintain progress toward goals
    • Expertise in leading small clinical teams, providing feedback, and providing tools and resources to direct reports
    • Experience in developing support plans that include individualized, evidence-based elements of behavior change and strategies for problem behaviors and antecedent management
    • Skills in designing a Comprehensive Individualized Plan (CIP) to proactively protect participants
    • Proficiency in completing ongoing assessments, including data collection and visual display, to quantify behavioral changes and adjust interventions accordingly
    • History of delivering direct support and training to individuals and team members to promote optimal behavioral changes
    • Knowledge of designing restrictive plans that adhere to ODP waiver and regulatory requirements, based on the philosophy of least restrictive intervention
    • Professional demeanor Starting Salary: $80,000+
