    We’re expanding our footprint into Chicago and beyond, and we’re looking for a Senior Account Executive with the experience, ambition, and leadership skills to drive sales, manage complex deals, and help build and mentor our growing sales team.

    The Role

    As a Senior Account Executive, you will be responsible for identifying, crafting, and closing large-scale enterprise deals in the Chicago, Kansas City, and Charlotte Markets. This position has significant growth potential, including the opportunity to coach, upskill, and eventually manage the existing sales team.

    We’re seeking a proven closer who can build a large pipeline, develop long-term relationships, and work collaboratively across multiple teams. You should be comfortable navigating complex sales cycles (6+ months), working with stakeholders across Sustainability, Operations, Marketing, and Procurement, and selling into large venues, food service providers, hospitality, and corporate clients.

    Responsibilities

    • Drive Sales Growth: Proactively identify, develop, and close new enterprise accounts across stadiums, corporate campuses, hospitality, and foodservice in the Chicago, Charlotte & Kansas City regions.
    • Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement territory-specific strategies, leveraging market data, competitor insights, and internal resources.
    • Pipeline Development: Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline, managing opportunities from prospecting to close.
    • Complex Deal Management: Navigate enterprise sales cycles, negotiating contracts and collaborating with internal teams (operations, product, and finance) to ensure seamless execution.
    • Customer Relationship Management: Cultivate deep relationships with key decision-makers in Sustainability, Marketing, Operations, and Procurement teams.
    • Team Coaching & Development: Serve as a mentor and coach to junior sales team members, helping them refine their sales skills, improve their outreach efforts, and close more deals.
    • Performance Metrics & Reporting: Establish key success metrics, track progress in HubSpot CRM, and provide updates to leadership on revenue performance and sales forecasting.

    Qualifications

    • 7+ years of experience in enterprise B2B sales, ideally selling into large venues, food service, hospitality, or corporate sustainability initiatives.
    • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding revenue targets, with experience closing six-figure+ enterprise deals.
    • Experience in mentoring, training, or managing sales teams, with the ability to help upskill current reps and drive sales excellence.
    • Deep understanding of complex sales environments, long sales cycles, and multi-stakeholder deals.
    • Exceptional relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage with senior decision-makers.
    • Highly analytical, with experience using CRM tools (HubSpot preferred) to track sales performance and optimize outreach.
    • Strong negotiation and presentation skills, with the ability to craft compelling sales propositions using market trends and case studies.
    • Self-starter mindset—comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with minimal direction.
