Change Lives in Rural Cambodia: Become a Trailblazer Foundation Board Member

Trailblazer Foundation, a non-profit improving health, food security, education, and economic development for poor families in rural Cambodia, is recruiting volunteer leaders to join its dynamic board of directors. 

The board needs a variety of skills, and seeks a candidate who is a well-connected leader, who is passionate and can leverage his/her networks and connections, who can identify and solicit potential funders to support the organization’s efforts in order to advance its mission and make the organization sustainable far into the future.

More about the roles and responsibilities

In addition to the standard roles and responsibilities of a board member, our board members are active advocates and ambassadors for the organization. Board members are actively involved in organizational governance, and are expected to attend quarterly board meetings and participate on one or more board committees.

Board members are expected to invest in Trailblazer Foundation’s work by making a personal contribution each year.

Our current Board of Directors hail from the East Coast to the West Coast in the United States. They are dedicated to the organization’s mission and bring experience in non-profit management, health and food nutrition, education and job skills training, sustainable development, media expertise, and have an understanding of the ways of Cambodia and its culture.

Board terms last for three years and board members can serve for up to three consecutive terms.
