Volunteer Opportunity (in-person) – Join us in celebrating 1,100 of Oakland Promise’s very own high school Class of 2024 scholarship recipients at our Awards Ceremony and Celebration! Register for a slot today. Volunteers can sign up for one or multiple two-hour volunteer shifts available from 10:00AM and 9:00PM.
The Awards Ceremony will be held at the Henry J. Kaiser Center for the Arts, 10 10th St, Oakland, CA 94607, with two-hour volunteer shifts available from 10:00AM to 9:00PM.
We have a variety of volunteer opportunities to make our Awards Ceremony possible, including setting up signs and decor, greeting guests, handing out programs, distributing stoles to students, serving food, and hosting activities for kids and families to enjoy.
We would love to have your support as we work to advance equity and economic mobility through cradle-to-college and career achievement - one graduating class at a time!

Street parking is limited so we highly recommend that volunteers take public transportation or rideshare. The event is conveniently located by the Lake Merritt BART station.
