General Overview and Objective of the Project:

The Necessary Society is seeking a creative and dedicated volunteer to develop a comprehensive content calendar and create engaging social media content. This role involves designing a balanced mix of posts, including videos, pictures, and other enticing material that will captivate our audience across various social media platforms. The content should focus on direct democracy, current societal issues, and how direct democracy can provide solutions. The goal is to engage, educate, and inspire our audience to take action.

Tasks and Tactics:

1. Content Calendar Development: Develop a detailed content calendar for 7-9 months, outlining a balanced mix of content types and themes; Plan posts to ensure a consistent and engaging presence across all social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.).
2. Content Creation: Create high-quality, engaging content, including videos, infographics, images, and written posts; Develop content that highlights the principles of direct democracy, current issues, and how direct democracy can provide solutions; Craft emotionally compelling narratives that highlight frustrations with the current system and inspire action towards direct democracy.
3. Research and Ideation: Conduct research on relevant topics and trends to ensure content is timely and relevant; Brainstorm and propose new content ideas that align with our mission and goals.

Milestones:

• Month 1: Develop the content calendar for the first 3 months and create initial content (videos, images, written posts).
• Month 2-3: Continue content creation
• Month 4-5: Finalize the content calendar for the remaining months, create wrap-up content and plan for ongoing engagement strategies.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven experience in social media content creation and management.
• Strong understanding of social media platforms and best practices.
• Excellent written and visual communication skills.
• Ability to create compelling and emotionally engaging content.
• Basic knowledge of societal issues and an understanding of direct democracy principles.
• Proficiency with social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer).
