An extraordinary progressive public health setting, Shepherd's Clinic and Joy Wellness provides quality integrative health care to uninsured adults through the generous donated hours of volunteers. With a monthly average of over 500 patient visits, we maintain a busy weekly schedule and rely on volunteers for medical, mental health and wellness care, and for all aspects of clinical management. With the opening of Joy Wellness Center, Shepherd's Clinic is one of the first integrative medicine centers for the economically disadvantaged and uninsured. The center offers a range of healing arts modalities and programming including: yoga, massage therapy, acupuncture, nutrition education, movement and stress reduction programs and smoking cessation.
