Change Matters is becoming a resource pipeline for making food available to people in need and to become part of the solution to end hunger in NYC. We are working with artists and industrial designers to design and fabricate coin collection arcades to be strategically placed in locations where many people pass each day. The change people 'hate' to carry will be captured and made useful by local soup kitchens and food pantries. And a Pay It Forward NYC: Reducing Hunger One Slice At A Time initiative, launched in early December, 2015 with an upper west side pizzeria is providing food for hungry New Yorkers.
