Homework Central is an after-school tutoring, homework assistance, and enrichment program for third, fourth, and fifth graders in the San Mateo-Foster City Unified School District. We serve 90-100 children annually from 50-60 families, with a total of 500 youth identified as eligible for the program. Eligibility includes qualifying for free or reduced lunch and display of need for academic support outside of school. Homework Central steps in to fill the gap and meet a growing need in North Central San Mateo.
