Fuller Center Disaster ReBuilders, Inc.

  • Sobre Nós

The mission of Fuller Center Disaster ReBuilders (FCDR) is to restore low-income, uninsured homeowners to their storm-damaged homes after a major natural disaster. This means senior citizens, disabled, and single parent/large families who do not have the wherewithal (finances, emotional and/or health) to accomplish the task themselves. FCDR accomplishes its mission by using volunteer teams from across the United States, as well as local volunteers, under the supervision of our construction staff. Under our direction, volunteers are able to work productively and safely. Homeowners are vetted by a formal case management process under the auspices of the local long term recovery group to validate need. Construction expenses are funded by available homeowner funds, donations and any available grants.
