Alano Club of Northside Chicago

We are open 70 hours a week and house around forty 12-step meetings a week addressing various addiction/compulsive behaviors including alcoholism, adult children, cluttering, overeating, Al-Anon, cocaine addiction, and codependency.

ACON provides a social, sober setting for people in recovery and their families.

Our second floor houses four meeting rooms. One of the meeting rooms houses a dance floor, d.j. booth, jukebox, and a karaoke machine. We rent out this room for events and we offer our patrons concerts, dances, and alcoholic idol karaoke competition.

Our first floor houses an office with a full collection of AA and Al-anon literature including anniversary coins. We have a book exchange in our large room as well as a generously donated large-screen tv, a pool table a dart board, a pop machine. We have a restaurant-style kitchen for our periodic buffets. Our kids room has a pinball machine and kid-friendly movies, games and toys. And last but not least, we have a backyard where we host a weekly outdoor meeting. Our goal is to keep our members out of the bars and in our club.

Alano Club of Northside Chicago has been proud to help those who have a desire to stop and get help for their addictions for six and a half decades. We get those who need it medical attention and those who are getting out of treatment a safe place to learn a recovery lifestyle and make recovering friendships.
