Underground provides legal and trauma services for children and young people who have been involved in the system of mass incarceration and support the fellowship that teaches school leaders to found and build Irene Morgan Schools. Irene Morgan Schools are an aspiring national network of full service, trauma-informed small, community schools that reduce harm to children and young people caused by the system of mass incarceration. IMS Oakland will be launching in Oakland, CA in Fall of 2020.
