Rahma Relief Foundation is a humanitarian
relief organization whose mission is to provide aid to the Syrian people affected
by the current crises.
It has programs mainly in Syria, others in
Lebanon and Turkey. Humanitarian aid containersThe humanitarian situation in Syria continues to deteriorate. More and more people are being made destitute as the crisis continues. In response, Rahma procures and sends shipments of food, clothes and other staple items to the people affected by the conflict in Syria and the neighboring countries.Food items include rice, wheat, sugar, oil, milk, eggs, meat, pasta and canned products.Non food items include medication, clothing, blankets and shoes. EducationIn 2015, education was the third sector deeply affected by the crisis. According to the United Nations’ Syria Response Plan, 4.5 million people including children and adolescents were in need. Rahma has developed an educational program to support elementary schools inside Syria and neighboring countries, Lebanon and Turkey. The education programs enable displaced children, first to sixth grade, to continue their education, support teachers with salaries.Orphan SponsorshipRahma established its orphan sponsorship program to allow orphans stay with a loving guardian and help that guardian take care of the orphan’s needs.
