SFLIG Volunteers

SFLIG Volunteers is a non-profit volunteering organization that connects passionate people with the heart to give back to society, specifically to those whose lives depend on it, through volunteering.. 

Choosing to volunteer in Ghana with SFLIG Volunteers means helping to keep girls in school, supporting single and teenage mothers, as well as providing educational support for orphans. SFLIG Volunteers run year-round volunteer and internship programs with plenty of adventure and opportunities for cultural exchange.

We offer placements for teaching and assisting in schools. Volunteers provide help in subjects such as English, Mathematics, French, creative arts, and science. Additionally, our childcare program operates in orphanage homes, crèches, and kindergartens, where volunteers assist in taking care of babies and toddlers by singing and playing with them. We also offer medical placements for both medical practitioners and pre-medical students in various medical units. In addition, we have placements for supporting refugees, empowering women, and providing community support projects.

SFLIG Volunteers have placements in almost all 16 regions of Ghana, and they can choose their preferred placement location. They also have the option to select different locations and projects during their volunteering period.

We provide a well secured volunteer house and host family accommodation for volunteers with 24/7 security. We accept volunteers from age 16yrs upwards, family volunteering( children below 16yrs are accepted), group volunteering, couples volunteering.
