A Christian Ministry in the National Parks

Extreme hiking, paid employment, and ministry opportunities abound!

ACMNP is an interdenominational ministry in 25+ national parks across America that helps people encounter God in the wonders of creation! Ministry team members commit to a short term of at least 90 days during the summer or a 6-7 month commitment during the winter.

What would you do? Prepare and lead interdenominational outdoor services of worship each Sunday as an outreach to campground and lodge guests, national park residents, and employees. Work (and get paid!) full time by private park hospitality companies - jobs like front desk, food service, retail, bellhop, housekeeping, and more. (Room and board is provided with co-workers in employee housing at very minimal cost.) Approximately 30-40% of seasonal employees are internationals, so your job makes for an excellent mission field! Opportunities for second language Bible studies, discussion groups, and other ways to serve are plentiful. Expect to grow and be transformed, as you’re placed in positions of responsibility at work and on your ministry team. Identify your strengths. Learn to be a unified team despite denominational differences. Explore issues of faith and creation care in the most dramatic and fun locations on earth! Not to mention... the world's best hiking, camping, climbing, backpacking, rafting, fishing, kayaking, and stargazing are all at your doorstep!
