ARCS® Foundation is a national non-profit founded by women in 1958 with the mission of advancing science and technology in America. Over the past 62 years, ARCS Foundation has provided >$120M in awards to >10,000 young scientists in STEM and medical research. The Northern California Chapter (NCC) is one of 15 chapters nationwide (www.northern-california.arcsfoundation.org ). Founded in 1970, NCC has provided >$22.6M in awards to >2800 ARCS Scholars. With 157 dedicated Bay Area women volunteers, NCC allocated >$1M to our six partner universities for the past two consecutive years and plans to do the same for this coming next year (July 1, 2021 – June 30, 2022).
