    Rescue Outreach Mission, the only Emergency Shelter in Seminole County, Florida (near Orlando), exists to serve disadvantaged people of Central Florida by providing resources that help prevent homelessness and by helping those who are already homeless return to self-sufficiency.

    Rescue Outreach Mission is a 501(c)3 corporation. Major funders include the Heart of Florida United Way, Seminole County, Orlando Magic Youth Foundation, Disney, Orlando Sentinel, McCormik Foundation and numerous other foundations, churches, service clubs, businesses and individuals.

    Though more than a quarter century has passed since Mother Weaver officially opened the Mission, her vision is still alive through the work of our dedicated staff, many volunteers and the support of local government, charitable organizations and caring individuals.
