Communities In Schools of Southeast Harris and Brazoria County Inc.

Communities In Schools Southeast Harris and Brazoria County is a combination of two 501(c) 3 nonprofit organizations. Communities In Schools Southeast Harris and Brazoria County are dedicated to providing exemplary services that empower students to successfully learn, stay in school and achieve in life.  Our primary focus is to provide students with the necessary resources, tools, and real world skills that give them the opportunity to be successful in school and beyond the classroom.

Communities In Schools Southeast Harris and Brazoria County offers programs during the day and after school that partner with school districts, educators, parents and community partners to identify barriers to success and address the students’ needs. Once the needs are identified, CIS customizes support for students and families providing individual case management services while engaging the community as part of this process. CIS reviews individual academics, behavior, attendance and tracks education outcomes for all students served.
