Colorado Voters for Animals

Colorado Voters for Animals is a Colorado network organized specifically to support animals and the people who care about them in the political arena at all levels of government. CVA is an all-volunteer, 501(c)(4) non-profit organization.

What We Do

• Track issues that affect animals in Colorado’s state legislature, congress, and local jurisdictions.
• Mobilize our legislative alert network to communicate with their elected representatives in the state legislature
• Survey candidates at various levels of government to ascertain their attitudes to and positions on animal issues
• Apprise our members of incumbents' voting records and of survey responses from all responding candidates to help members make informed decisions when voting
• Inform our members through updates
• Engage local media in animal protection legislative action
