Immanuel Congregational Church, UCC

We are a congregation full of vitality! We have been LGBTQ affirming for over 20 years and are a designated Just Peace congregation. In the midst of intensive study and action on issues of racial justice, we committed to an intentional anti-racist journey six years ago. We have extensive anti-racist requirements of our leadership and engage in ongoing anti-racism work with our members and in worship. We are deeply involved in interfaith community organizing in the Hartford area (GHIAA), dismantling structures of injustice and white supremacy. We live out our commitments with bold ministries, courageous actions, challenging conversations, and extravagant welcome. Our congregation combines abundant joy with a passion to do God's justice in this world.
