To facilitate the practice, and raise awareness of the opportunity, of turning atmospheric carbon into water-holding, fertility-enhancing soil organic matter. We need to learn to manage the carbon cycle as a whole, not just the parts.
Our main project is the SOIL CARBON CHALLENGE, which monitors soil carbon change where land managers are interested and committed to trying to increase soil organic matter. So far we are operating mainly in North America, where over 60 farmers and ranchers have participated so far with baseline plots.
