Metropolitan Career Center

  • Sobre Nós

Metropolitan Career Center (MCC), an educational institution, offers an alternative for adults with limited access to educational resources. Through education and individualized support services, MCC prepares students for employment and economic independence.

MCC was founded in 1974 by members of the First United Methodist Church of Germantown–the Reverend Theodore Loder, John Rice, and Robert Dehaan. Through their leadership, disadvantaged young people in the Philadelphia gained a resource that provided the basic education, work experience, and the direction they needed to start their careers.

Located in the Land Title Building in downtown Philadelphia-Center City, MCC has trained and placed over 16,000 Philadelphians in over 34 years of business.
