The primary purposes of the Institute for Applied Humanism are to research and advance the understanding of, and educate people about, humanism as a worldview, life stance, egalitarian value system, and scientific naturalistic philosophy; promote, protect, and develop humanist values; and foster development and application of humanism in society, including educating people about humanist principles in educational programs.
