We believe design has the fundamental capacity to improve the human condition, and strive to make it accessible to everyone through free exhibitions in a public space in the Loop and programs across Chicago.The Design Museum of Chicago exists to change how individuals, families and communities experience and engage with the world by making them more design-wise. In doing so, we celebrate the breadth of design, creators and disciplines, contextualize the significance of design throughout society, and connect diverse cultures and perspectives with the broader design ecosystem.
