Offering graduate programs in public policy, public affairs, international relations, conflict resolution, global governance and human security, and gerontology, the John W. McCormack Graduate School of Policy and Global Studies teaches students to examine issues through a different lens – one that reveals the social and economic inequities inherent in our system. Part of our mission is to develop the tools to evaluate and address those inequities. We prepare our students for careers in academia, business, nonprofits, and government. Our programs are complemented by research centers focusing on Civil Discourse; Community Democracy and Democratic Literacy; Gerontology; Governance and Sustainability; Peace, Democracy and Development; Public Management; Rebuilding Sustainable Communities after Disasters; Social Policy; Gender, Leadership, and Public Policy
