A person’s income, where they live, and the color of their skin shouldn’t predict their chances of surviving breast cancer – but they do. Gateway to Hope’s mission is to champion change by removing barriers to affordable, timely, quality breast healthcare. Each year we navigate more than 400 people to preventative and diagnostic breast healthcare, through treatment, and when needed, end of life. Our work extends beyond patient comprehensive case management. We believe, and research suggests, that with upstream interventions, we can reduce the number of women diagnosed with late-stage disease and increase long-term survivability.
