    Our Mission:

    At CalEdu Foundation and CalColor Academy, our mission is to inspire youth to find their unique artistic voice and enrich our community through visual arts education, exhibitions, and lectures. We’re passionate about providing a safe, fun, and inclusive environment for our students.

    We believe art education has the power to make a positive impact on society.

    Volunteer Opportunities

    We offer three exciting volunteer opportunities at CalEdu Foundation. You can choose one or try them all—it’s completely up to you!

    1. Summer Volunteer: Summer Camps from June-August, you can choose any weeks that you are free. You’ll have three shifting types to pick, and you can volunteer 20 - 40 hours per week. Monday to Friday.
    2. Yearly Volunteer: Help out at CalColor’s regular quarterly classes. You can volunteer 1.5 - 8 hours per week, and choose the schedule that works best for you.
    3. Special Events Volunteer: Help at our school workshops, local community events like ZGZG, or special celebrations like CalColor Academy’s 10th Anniversary. Hours vary depending on the event.

    We’ve teamed up with CalColor Academy to provide volunteers for art classes for children ages 4-18.

    CalColor Academy has six locations across the Bay Area: Belmont, Mountain View, Cupertino, South San Jose, Fremont, and Newark.

    Who We Are

    CalEdu Foundation is a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit Organization dedicated to advocating for Wholesome Education and providing educational resources to empower the next generation. We’re proud to participate in special events and art education programs.

    Our partner, CalColor Academy, is the largest professional art school in the Bay Area, with multiple campuses. They encourage creativity and teach children solid foundational art techniques and art history. CalColor offers professional art programs for kids ages 4-18. Their experienced team develops a comprehensive art curriculum that includes a wide variety of media and art forms, such as:

    • Pictorial Art (drawing, painting, sketching, watercolor)
    • Spatial Art (clay sculpture, 3D art)
    • Digital Art, Illustration, Design, and Comic Art
