Who We Are?

CalEdu Foundation is a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit Organization We advocate Wholesome Education for every child in our community and provide educational resources for the next generation. We participate in special events and art education programs.

Our partner CalColor Academy is the largest professional art school with multiple campuses in Bay Area. They encourage and nurture creativity. They teach children solid fundamental art techniques and art history. CalColor offers professional art programs to children 4-18 years old. Their team develops a well-rounded, wholesome art curriculum for children of different age groups. In their classes, children will learn a very broad range of media and art forms including Pictorial Art (drawing, painting, sketching, watercolor), Spatial Art (clay sculpture, 3D art), Digital Art, Illustration, Design, and Comic Art.

What We Do?

Our mission is to inspire youth to cultivate an individual artistic voice and enrich our community through visual arts education, exhibitions, and lecture series. Our professional team is dedicated to providing a safe, fun, and inclusive learning environment for our students. We believe in the importance of art education in making a positive impact on society.

Types Of Opportunities?

When volunteering at CalEdu Foundation you will have three different volunteer opportunities to choose from, you can try them all or stick to one category whatever your preference is. 

1. Yearly Volunteer: Will volunteer at CalColor's regular quarterly classes. Dedicating on average 1.5 - 9 hrs a week. On whatever schedule they choose.
2. Summer Volunteer: Will volunteer at CalColor’s Summer Camps. They will have 3 shifts to choose from dedicating 20 - 40 hours a week, Monday through Friday. This is a seasonal opportunity from Jun-Aug.
3. Special Events Volunteer: Will join us for local community events, like ZGZG and many more. This will also include special events like CalColor Academy 10 yr Anniversary, hours vary depending on the event.
