  • Sobre Nós

At the age of 24 with only a laptop and a coffee table, Scott started a residential property management company. Through innovation and hard work, the company employs 14 people and has offices in Maryland, DC, and Virginia. While growing this venture, he went to the University of Maryland School of Law at night, commuting from Montgomery County to Baltimore two to four times per week. In 2013 he was admitted to practice law and represents tenants pro bono in court with Maryland Legal Aid.

Scott has been a committed Democrat and involved member of the community for a long time. Starting as a precinct official, he rose to become an area coordinator, was appointed to the Central Committee, then elected by his peers to be the Chair of the Montgomery County Democratic Party. In 2018, under Scott's leadership as Chair, all 14 Democratic county candidates and 32 state legislative candidates earned double the amount of votes as their Republican competitors. This was the widest margin and first time this happened in county history. He has worked on the campaigns of Roger Manno for Delegate, Jamie Raskin for Congress and managed Ike Leggett's re-election victory in 2014. In 2020, Scott was on the ballot to be a delegate to the Democratic National Convention for Elizabeth Warren. He even served two terms as President of the Montgomery County Young Democrats.

When not coaching Little League tee-ball, Scott was appointed by the County Executive to serve as a member, then Chair, of the Western Montgomery County Citizens Advisory Board. He served on the Greater Capital Area Association of Realtors (GCAAR) Public Policy Committee and is a member of the Montgomery County Bar Association. He is a frequent platelet donor with 65 units donated and is an Eagle Scout!
