Village Home Education Resource Center is a learning community providing academic and social enrichment and resources for families who choose to home educate. Village Home offers exceptional education driven by the student, inspired by the teacher, supported by the community. Village Home offers engaging classes without grading and testing for families on DIY learning paths. Learners own their education by choosing from over 200 classes taught by inspiring professional instructors in Science, Math, Art, Technology, Language Arts and History. Village Home learning fosters interpersonal connection, creative-thinking, and problem-solving skills. Founded in 2002, is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit learning community based in Beaverton, Oregon. The vision of Village Home is to be a community model for family centered, home-based education that inspires and supports self-directed, lifelong learning.
