Fast-paced, exciting start-up, Philanthropedia is a nonprofit organization that is transforming the $250B philanthropy sector by tackling one of its most fundamental questions: how to evaluate nonprofits. Our approach is to survey experts to identify high-impact nonprofits and then feature the organizations in an Expert Fund so individual donors can support a cohort of strong nonprofits. Philanthropedia is founded by Stanford alumni and funded by the Hewlett Foundation.
