The CS Fund is a small family foundation that makes grants in the following areas:
Emerging Technologies Addressing the risks and encouraging precautionary regulation of nanotechnology, synthetic biology, and geoengineering.
Food Sovereignty Promoting seed saving, encouraging soil building, and protecting native pollinators, especially in the Global South.
Rights and Governance Protecting the right to dissent, making the government more transparent, ensuring the rule of law, and building a progressive legal movement. Also, making global trade more democratic, just, and sustainable.
