Rakai Environmental Conservation Program (RECO) is a community based initiative that was started in 2011 and registered with Rakai district as an organization working with Rakai district Communities to respond to Agricultural and Environmental challenges facing the district.
More to, RECO also aims at working with Rakai Communities to find community based solutions to cross cutting issues like climate change, value addition, youth unemployment, Gender issues, Health among others that directly or indirectly affect environmental conservation, and agricultural production.
