Since 1988, NJWAN has been providing education/prevention, treatment adherence, advocacy and wellness programming to women who are infected with or affected by HIV/AIDS. Its mission is to:
- reduce the spread of HIV infection in women - support the self-determination of women living with HIV/AIDS and promote better access to quality care and treatment, - educate service providers; and - advocate for appropriate policies that recognize women in the AIDS pandemic
