About Lake Avenue Church:
Lake Avenue Church is a 128‐year‐old congregational church with a strong history of growth, vibrancy, and community engagement. We have an evangelical theology and value diversity of thought and spiritual expression (within the bounds of Protestant Orthodoxy).
Our value for diversity and integration is more profound than worship styles and programs. Our neighborhood represents a variety of cultures, ethnicities, socioeconomics, beliefs, and lifestyles, and we are passionate about reflecting this diversity and engaging with our diverse neighborhood. We desire to be an expression of God’s Kingdom that is strongly connected with our community.

We are a community of Christ‐followers from every nation and each generation, reflecting the message of the Gospel in our neighborhood and beyond.
