The Robert Schalkenbach Foundation (RSF) was founded in 1925 with the mission to enhance liberty and equality of opportunity for all people through research, outreach, and community-level interventions that integrate concerns for economic, social, and environmental justice; poverty; and government-granted privileges.
Today, RSF's programs include a jointly-operated independent research center (The Center for Property Tax Reform), a scholarship program supporting undergraduate and graduate students, a recurring calendar of research grant opportunities, and physical and digital libraries dedicated to scholarship and thought rooted in the ideas of 19th Century social reformer, Henry George.
