The Mount Sinai Hopsital Department of Health Education provides individuals, families and communities with the knowledge, skills, resources and support necessary to adopt behaviors that are conducive to healthy lifestyles. Using a "lifecycle of health" approach we develop and implement health promotion/disease prevention programs that are sensitive to the needs, cultures, beliefs, and the different stages of life of the populations we serve.
